Legally Binding Signatures
Signatures meet the US ESIGN Act and UETA and the EU eIDAS regulation (Simple Electronic Signature) — the right standard for everyday business agreements. Before signing, each recipient affirmatively consents to use electronic records and signatures — the consent is captured, timestamped, and printed on the certificate.
Tamper-Evident Records
Every completed document is fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash and its full audit trail is appended as a Certificate of Completion — evidence it has not been altered since signing. When enabled, TotalCtrl also applies a platform-level PAdES (PKCS#7) digital signature and RFC 3161 trusted timestamp to the final PDF so it self-verifies as unaltered in any reader — a service seal applied by TotalCtrl (exactly how DocuSign seals with its own certificate), not a certificate for the signer or the sending company.
Court-Ready Audit Trail & Certificate
Every view, consent, signature, and decline is logged with IP address, timestamp, and email. A Certificate of Completion — listing all signers, consents, and the full audit trail — is appended to the signed PDF as evidence.
Drag-and-Drop Field Builder
Drop signature, initials, date, text, and checkbox fields anywhere on any page of your PDF, and assign each field to a specific signer. A live PDF preview shows exactly what each person will sign.
Sign in the Browser
Recipients draw, type, or upload their signature from any device via a secure magic link — no login, no app, no friction. Date fields auto-fill on signing.
Sequential or Parallel Routing
Send to everyone at once, or route signers one at a time in order. The next signer is only notified once the previous one finishes.
Reminders & Expiry
Automatic reminders nudge signers who haven't acted, on a cadence you set, and envelopes auto-expire after your deadline. Send a manual reminder any time.
Connected to Your Suite
Send from CRM contacts, trigger Orchestration workflows on signing events, fire webhooks, drive it from the API or an AI agent, and reuse templates for documents you send often.
